Brian is the second of eight children. I was the first and always the big sister. Family life was not easy for any of us but I think Brian found it difficult to understand and consequently he could be rebellious at times. He met the love of his love at the age of 20 and she was 15, still at school. They were together until she was 21 when they got married. He became an alcoholic over a period of time and his marriage failed because of it. Despite family and medics trying to get him to stop he carried on and finally passed away at the age of 48. I believe he always had a hole in his heart and he was never able to fill the void. To the world he was the life and soul of the party and he was always laughing. It is my belief that when he passed away his soul went on to learn the lessons he failed to learn while he was here. We all miss him so much and hope he is finally now at peace.
